
I’m standing on the stairwell, raindrops falling on my bare legs, watching Southern California dance in a panic, and thinking ever so strangely about petrichor.

I am a photographer. I don’t know the first thing about it. But when I look at that shot, I do know all of this.

I’m in a pool of sunlight, thinking about outgrowing spaces, facing uncertainty, and what to remember when preparing for all outcomes.

There is a book open in my lap, underlines tattooing each strange page of it. Strange, because it is entirely about training a hawk. But breathtaking, because it is really about so much more.
Spinning Visions was created as an ode to love, art, and other messy things that make my head spin. It is a space for documenting experience and exploring thought. It is also the thing that makes me lose all sense of time and place. You can click here to learn more.
